Caramelized Onion, Pear, Balsamic Pork Chops
Ingredients
  • 4 pork chops
  • salt
  • pepper
  • garlic powder
  • 2 tbs butter
  • 1/2 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 2 onions, chopped
  • 2 pears, chopped
  • 1 tsp salt
Directions
  1. Heat balsamic vinegar in a small saucepan until boiling. Cook 10 minutes until reduced by half
  2. Heat the butter in a frying pan on medium-high heat. Add onions to pan and lightly brown. Reduce heat to medium and cook onions until lightly caramelized. Add chopped pears, vinegar, and salt. Stir until coated for 2 minutes.
  3. Liberally coat both sides of pork chops with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Grill or bake the pork chops however you prefer.
  4. Top with the pear mixture and serve.
