Split Pea Soup
Description
Ingredients
1 package dried split peas (16 oz)
1 meaty ham bone or 2 cups diced ham
1 medium onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 tsp dried parsley
1 tbsp seasoned salt
1/2 tsp fresh ground pepper
1 1/2 qts hot water
Directions
Layer ingredients in CrockPot in the given order and add hot water. Cook on low for 8 to 10 hours or on high for 4 to 5 hours. Mash peas to thicken soup more.
