Dipping Chocolate
Description
Ingredients
- 16 ounces milk chocolate chips
- 2 tbs shortening
- Things to dip: e.g. 1 lb strawberries, cookies, marshmallows, pretzels, etc.
Directions
- In a double boiler, melt the chocolate and shortening, stirring occasionally until smooth.
- Hold whatever you are dipping with a toothpick or fork or by one end and dip into the chocolate mixture.
- Set dipped item onto parchment paper to let the chocolate harden. Place in the fridge or freezer to speed up the hardening process
