Dipping Chocolate
Ingredients
  • 16 ounces milk chocolate chips
  • 2 tbs shortening
  • Things to dip: e.g. 1 lb strawberries, cookies, marshmallows, pretzels, etc.
Directions
  1. In a double boiler, melt the chocolate and shortening, stirring occasionally until smooth.
  2. Hold whatever you are dipping with a toothpick or fork or by one end and dip into the chocolate mixture.
  3. Set dipped item onto parchment paper to let the chocolate harden. Place in the fridge or freezer to speed up the hardening process
