- prime rib roast
- salt
- butter coating:
- 2 sticks butter softened
- 6-12 cloves garlic chopped
- 2 tbs kosher salt
- 1 tbs pepper
- Garlic powder 2 tsp
- Onion powder 2tsp
- Chopped fresh thyme, rosemary, sage (~1 tbs each)
Directions
- Salt the meat
- 8 hours sous vide at 133
- 30 min in fridge
- Pat dry
- Butter coating
- 15 min at 500 in oven on rack in roasting pan
