Fried Rice
Ingredients
  • 2 tbs + 6tbs butter
  • 5-6 eggs
  • 2 tbs minced garlic
  • vegetables (I use 1-2 cups frozen peas/carrots/beans mix usually)
  • salt
  • 8 cups cold rice
  • 3 tbs soy sauce
  • 3 tbs coconut aminos
  • 1/2 tbs fish sauce
  • toasted sesame oil optional
Directions
  1. Scramble eggs in 2tbs butter and set aside
  2. Melt 6tbs butter
  3. Add garlic (2 tbs chunks) and vegetables (plus salt to season veggies) and cook ~2 min
  4. Add cold rice (8 cups) and soy sauce (3 tbs soy, 3tbs coconut aminos, and 1/2 tbs fish sauce) and stir 3-5 min letting bottom get crispy
  5. Add in egg and stir, can add toasted sesame oil here too
